AM2301 / DHT21 یک ماژول اندازه گیری رطوبت و دما است که از دو حسگر رطوبت خازنی و ترمیستور تشکیل شده است . این ماژول با منبع تغذیه 3.3 تا 5.2 ولت راه اندازی می شود و از طریق پروتکل ارتباطی تک سیمه (One-Wire) با میکرو کنترلر ارتباط برقرار می کند.این ماژول دارای یک سنسور دمای دقیق وسنسور رطوبت با تکنولوژی خازنی است که به یک ریز پردازنده قدرتمند هشت بیتی متصل است که یک  خروجی سیگنال دیجیتال کالیبره شده تولید میکند .
