مو سوییچ یا سوئیچ حرارتی قطعه‌ای از یک سیستم کنترلی می‌باشد که دمای سیستم را وقتی نزدیک نقطه‌ی تنظیم باشد حس می کند. ترموسوییچ می تواند میزان گرما یا سرمای سیستمی را تنظیم وکنترل کند. ترمو سوییچ بر اساس دمای تعریف شده سوئیچ کرده (باز و بسته می‌شود) و دستگاهی را روشن یا خاموش می کند،هنگامی که دما از حد معینی بالاتر می‌رود دستگاه را خاموش و زمانی که دما از حد معینی پایین‌تر بیاید دستگاه را روشن می‌نماید.این قطعه دما را در نقطه‌ی تنظیم نگه می‌دارد و از ضربه زدن و خسارت به وسایل الکتریکی جلوگیری می‌کند. ترمو سوئیچ ها در یخچال ها، آب سرد کن ها، کوره ها، کمپرسورها، قطعات ماشین، الکتروموتور، صنایع ماشین سازی و … استفاده می شوند.

contact-head and static contace-piece are closed and the circuit is on.When the electric

appliance is in operation is in operation and produces heat caused by some troubles and

temperature is raised to the rated action temperature of the product,the bimetallic element

produces inner stuess and acts quickly and pushes the movable contact-head and make the

vontact point off and the power supply is rurned off the electric appliance stop.in this way

the thermal protection is made.When the temperature of electric appliance to be protected

is dropped to the rated reset temperature.The bimetallic element restores to its primary

state and contact point is closed .The electric appliance restores its work.The product has
